Armed, Semi-Armed & Unarmed Security Officers
Our Three Officer Tiers

Unarmed Officers
Best for: routine patrol, apartment communities, HOA common areas, parking enforcement, standard construction and fire watch
Our unarmed officers handle the day-to-day work that keeps a property safe and well-documented: patrol rounds, incident reports, parking citations, gate/access monitoring, and answering resident or tenant calls. They carry a radio for direct communication with dispatch and the tools needed to write detailed, timestamped reports — but no weapon of any kind.
Equipped with: radio, report/citation writing tools, standard uniform

Semi-Armed Officers
Best for: communities that want stronger visible deterrence without a firearm on the property
Semi-armed officers carry less-lethal tools — pepper spray (Mace) and a baton — in addition to everything an unarmed officer carries. This tier is a popular middle ground for HOAs and property managers who want more than routine patrol but have concerns (personal, insurance-related, or community-driven) about firearms being present on-site.
Equipped with: radio, report/citation writing tools, Mace, baton, standard uniform

Fully Armed Officers
Best for: properties with a documented history of violent incidents, high-value assets, or communities that require the highest level of visible deterrence and rapid response
Our armed officers are BSIS-licensed and have completed additional state-mandated firearms training beyond the standard guard certification. They’re equipped with the full range of protective and less-lethal tools, along with body-worn cameras for full incident documentation and accountability.
Equipped with: firearm, Mace, baton, body camera, radio, report/citation writing tools, bulletproof vest, tactical gear (property-dependent)
Which Tier Is Right for Your Property?
✓ Has your property experienced theft, assault, or other criminal activity recently? Fully armed coverage may be worth discussing.
✓ Do you want stronger deterrence, but firearms on-site aren’t the right fit for your community or your insurer? Semi-armed is often the right balance.
✓ Is your primary need day-to-day patrol, documentation, and a visible presence? Unarmed coverage handles this reliably and cost-effectively.
